Whether it be paperwork, investment accounts or due to a life altering event such as; loss of spouse or divorce. Either way, financial implications cause us to make every effort to take back control. Here is […]
There’s still time to make a regular IRA contribution for 2015! You have until your tax return due date (not including extensions) to contribute up to $5,500 for 2015 ($6,500 if you were age 50 by December 31, 2015). People always ask me how long they should keep their tax returns? So, is the 7 year rule of thumb fact or fiction? What about those quarterly and annual statements you get about your investment accounts? And how long to keep bank statements before throwing them away? One year? Three years? Seven years? You […]
Risk means different things to different people in investing. It can mean the possibility of losing money. It can mean the set back of a disappointing return. Whatever the case, ‘risk’ spells D.A.N.G.E.R. when it comes to investing, right? That’s why, I’m here to tell you that it’s oh-so-important to put in place some important […]
Every single day we ask ourselves ‘money’ questions. Should I buy this? How can I save more? I really want to achieve this dream, but how? Preparing for 2015
I will be out of the office beginning Wednesday, December 24th through the New Year.
What will I be doing?
I’m headed west to Granby, Colorado with my family for some much needed rest and relaxation. I plan to read, snowshoe and perhaps take in a trail ride (or two).
My goals for 2015 are BIG, and I can’t wait to share my ideas with you as we jump into the New Year. But first, I need to take some time and reflect on the gift of this past year.
I have scheduled blog posts to run while I am away. These will be pulled from the archives and they are some of the best ones we’ve had feedback on. I think you will enjoy them.
We will see you in 2015!
